  • Suitable to help with Acne scarring, wrinkle reduction, pigmentation and facial rejuvenation

We are excited to introduce our new treatment that we will be offering – Our very own DDR treatment (Deep Dermal Replenishment facial) which combines skin microneedling treatments using the approved Dermapen and Mesotherapy. Infusing Hydrating HA, Vitamin C, Skin Tightening DMAE, and Retinoid based serums to ensure every treatment is maximised to help deliver optimum results! Let us help you get your GLOW back.

The treatment will begin with a thorough skin analysis and consultation utilizing the Visia Analysis system. We take time to listen to your skin concerns, conduct a detailed skin analysis and provide you with treatment plan that is focused on achieving your desired skin objectives.  A light layer of topical anesthetic will be applied to provide a comfortable and enjoyable result driven treatment.

Your 1st step to the treatment will be performed by your Lightsculpt Doctor, they will begin by injecting a combination of Vitamin infused serums (serums which are chosen specifically for your skincare needs) directly into the problems areas (just below your skin layer) such as dehydrated areas, fine lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines, lip lines etc.

Your 2nd and final step will be performed by one of our highly qualified Skincare Specialists utilizing the Dermapen and the remaining serums from the Doctor.

Dermapen is an advancement in microneedling technology. Unlike its predecessors (painful dermal rolling) Dermapen is an agile device with an adjustable needle head. The needle head is automated by an oscillating system that helps deliver fast fractional and virtually painless treatment, gently creating micro channels in the skin with the aim to achieve two outcomes:

Firstly, the small trauma caused to the skin helps generate your body’s healing response and may stimulate collagen and elastin rejuvenation in turn improving the skin’s texture, health and appearance.

Secondly, the micro channels allow the Mesotherapy, a vitamin rich serum to penetrate deeply into the skin. At Lightsculpt we use specially formulated and prescribed Serums by Mesoestetic to help hydrate and plump the skin partnered with a vitamin infusion that is selected depending on your desired possible outcomes. Results on any treatment may vary per individual as everybody is different and may respond differently to treatments mentioned.

Photo’s are of best results achieved courtesy of Genop. Results may vary per individual. Serums Used to infuse into the skin is an extensive range of sterile active substances. We select the most suitable formulas for each individuals need.

  • Hyaluronic Serum
To help hydrate and plump the skin by retaining water to add moisture, volume and elasticity to the structure of the skin.
  • DMAE
Helps to increase moisture by restoring fibroblastic function while generally improving tissues for a tightening and firming effect.
  • Cosmeretin (Vitamin A)
An intense infusion with repair and rejuvenation properties and anti-aging anti-oxidants. Ideal for anti-aging or scarring. It helps to stimulate the fibroblasts, inhibiting collagen degradation.
  • Vitamin C Antioxidant
The skins most important non-enzymatic hydrosoluble antioxidant. Stimulates collagen synthesis, activating its regulating gene. It palliates the oxidative damage caused by ultra violet radiation to the epidermal cells and may produce a whitening effect.

We recommend this treatment for clients of all skin types wanting to improve dehydration, poor texture, acne scarring, wrinkles, pigmentation, stretchmarks and those seeking facial rejuvenation where stimulating collagen and elastin may benefit the skins texture and appearance. Results may vary per individual.

How does it benefit the skin?

More comfortable than other Microneedling technologies our Dermapen with Mesotherapy treatments may be effective in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, treating scarring, generating collagen and elastin for skin health and rejuvenation and reducing pigmentation. While the face is the most popular treatment area we can also help treat décolletage, hands, stomach thighs and breasts.

How many treatments are required to see results?

The number of treatments required will vary depending on the condition of the skin and the desired outcomes. Most clients see noticeable results in 2-4 treatments however those with deep scarring, extensive pigmentation or advanced ageing will require more treatments to achieve noticeable results. Results on any treatment may vary per individual as everybody is different and may respond differently to treatments mentioned.

The Home Roller

The spool contains minute needles (0.25mm long – tiny!) which are rolled over your skin every night as part of your night-time beauty regime. The procedure takes just a few minutes, is completely painless, and quite magical. What does it do?

The little pricks help cause the Collagen Induction we are looking for. They lightly damage the superficial cells of the epidermis – the keratinocytes – and this causes them to cleverly release important growth factors which seep deep into the surrounding skin. These growth factors are like skin “e-mails”. They code messages to the melanocytes and fibroblasts.
They talk, and teach, and tell the skin what to do. Make more collagen, tighten up, get stronger and importantly – smooth out that pigment that has clumped into spots. Results may vary per individual.

Next, the serum

Now that you have created hundreds of minute holes in the skin (just like we did in your professional treatment). They are open for the next few minutes. There is no point in creating all these channels to the depths of your skin, and then fill the holes with rubbish.
Fill the roles with the food your skin needs to build the collagen and elastin, and heal. Your therapist will suggest the serum that may most benefit you. Our serums contain anti-oxidants, collagen, growth factors and stem cells. You may well be on a great one already, in which case you’re good to go!
