We specialise in sculpting your aesthetic appearance with the BodyTite liposuction technique.
What is Liposuction?
Liposuction, also called lipoplasty, liposculpture suction lipectomy, or lipo, is a type of cosmetic surgery which breaks up and “sucks” fat from various possible parts of the body, most commonly the tummy, thighs, buttocks, neck, chin, upper and backs of the arms, calves, and back. The fat is removed through a vacuum powered cannula – which is inserted under the skin.
During the past decade, liposuction has been improved with several new refinements. Today, a number of new techniques, including ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty (UAL) or Vaser, Radio Frequency Assisted Liposuction (RFAL) or BodyTite and Laser assisted Liposuction (LAL) LipoTherme have dramatically reduced the post trauma and downtime associated with old liposuction technology.
If you’re considering liposuction we will give you a basic understanding of the procedure — when it can help, how it is performed and how you might look and feel after surgery. It won’t answer all of your questions, since much depends on your individual circumstances. Please ask our doctors if there is anything about the procedure you don’t understand.
