Microdermabrasion
Most people may at some stage in their life feel like their skin is just in need of a little “something”, it may either be during a season change or when the skin is used to a product or procedure. Microdermabrasion could be the perfect solution!
What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion aids in mechanical exfoliation that is done in combination with a facial or on its own to help give a deeper exfoliation than a cream exfoliator or Alpha Hydroxy Acid. It is done with the Crystal or Diamond head which are the most effective.
Crystal Head
The Crystals are for a light exfoliation on the skin, with a smoother head than the Diamond Head.
Diamond Head
For a deeper exfoliation the Diamond Head is used to treat more severe conditions, the Crystal head can also be used first and then the Diamond Head for a deeper exfoliation.
How Does it Work?
The Crystals are pushed onto the skin to help dislodge any dead cells and the dead skin with crystals is simultaneously suctioned back into the machine.
This procedure pushes the crystals onto the skin at a fast speed, which helps to remove more dead skin cells than a normal scrub.
